Glutinous Purple Jadeite Landscape Plaque Pendant

100% natural Grade-A jadeite, certified by NGTC for authenticity.

Purple spreads across roughly half of this jadeite plaque, blending into a much lighter base rather than forming a uniform color. This natural contrast gives the stone its distinctive character, with soft lavender tones adding an atmospheric backdrop to the landscape. Its glutinous texture has a gently cloudy appearance, while the polished surface brings a mellow sheen to the broader areas and catches highlights along the raised carving.

Mountain ridges rise above clusters of trees and layered rocks, arranged in relief across a rectangular plaque with rounded corners and gently curved ends. More open areas between the mountains and foreground give the composition a sense of distance, allowing the scene to unfold across the tall format. A dark braided cord passes through the opening at the top, finished with a gold-colored decorative knot. The broad face makes the landscape a noticeable feature when worn, with details that reward a closer look.

In Chinese art, mountain-and-water landscapes have long expressed a longing for retreat, reflection and closeness to nature. This landscape plaque pendant offers a wearable reminder to make room for quiet moments in daily life. It suits nature lovers and admirers of Chinese landscape art, whether chosen as a birthday gift carrying a wish for a peaceful year or as a personal keepsake of a memorable journey. Worn over a simple shirt or knit, the purple coloring and carved scenery become the focus of the outfit.
